Orange County CA Electronics Recycling Centers, Companies
Everyone agrees that recycling is the right thing to do and E-waste recycling is no exception. But how do you do it? Where do you take all that "stuff" that’s been accumulating in your company’s office/storeroom/inventory area - or garage?
eRecycler.org E-Recyclers has the answer: We are the one-stop solution for high-tech e-waste recycling: from an old mainframe computer to an outdated PC and all the components in between.
We are a service-oriented company. Quick response, ease of use and simplicity define who we are and what we do. Nothing complicated - from $0 fee drop-off at our location, to arranging for a collection at your facility. Either way, we make it easy for you and safe for the environment.
Responsible e-waste recycling methods
Our simplified process generates no toxic waste, no fumes, particulate matter, drainage or other pollutants. Better than 95% of the e-waste materials we process are reduced to their base constituent elements to later be manufactured and re-used again in everyday products, similar to the original product that was recycled!
Other Orange County Resources
In many municipalities of all sizes, the local city or town government is involved in the recycling effort. Along with the collections normally conducted by the city, they often have information on other recycling facilities in the area that deal with materials that are not part of the city recycling plan. A phone call to the city or town hall can provide you with contact information to recycle centers that will either pick up your donated items or provide you with details on any recycling dropoff program the facility has in place.
Let us handle it for you!
Waste Reduction Awards Program (WRAP)
As generators of more than half the state's waste, businesses play a major role in helping local governments cut the amount of garbage going to landfills. That is why the California Integrated Waste Management Board (CIWMB) has presented more than 16,436 Waste Reduction Awards Program (WRAP) awards to date.
Prima Desecha Material Recovery Facility
The Prima Deshecha Material Recycling Facility (MRF) is now open! Self-haulers may now take their loads to the new facility for a lower cost than the landfill. Instead of going through the fee station to the landfill, customers should follow the signs directing them to the MRF, which is located just inside the landfill gate. Turn left after entering the landfill to bring loads to the MRF. At the MRF recyclable materials will be removed and recycled, instead of buried at the landfill. By using the new MRF, customers will help prolong the life of the Prima Deshecha Landfill. This also helps to maintain low trash collection fees for residents, and will help the County meet its recycling goals. The operating hours are Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
